Michael Slaby, former Chief Innovation Officer for Obama for America, will explain how nonprofit organizations, of all sizes, can embrace and utilize simple digital technologies to not only be more efficient organizations, but reduce expenses, increase revenue, and the impact their missions need to fulfill.

 

9:00 a.m.        DonorPath w/ Lumity, Intuit, Salesforce, and State of Illinois

 

DonorPath, the technology nonprofits use to raise money, not expenses, and Lumity.org have teamed up with Microsoft, Salesforce, and Intuit to create The Fundraising Readiness Project to help nonprofits get matched with a fundraising expert, sync data and create a dashboard, and get direct help raising money.

Alan Matthew is the CEO/Managing Director of Tribal Ventures and is one of Chicago’s most active and thoughtful angel investors.  Alan will discuss, from a funder’s perspective, the strategies required to raise money to fund social ventures.  Alan will be joined by a panel of entrepreneurs who have raised a combined total of $5 million for their social ventures in the last two years.
